Introduction

Over the last fifteen years Ormer House Preparatory School has established itself as a provider of high quality education. New buildings, highly-motivated and well-qualified staff, place Ormer House in a strong position from which to tackle the challenges of this new millennium.

Our shared purpose is to offer a quality education employing traditional values coupled with the best of modem practice. We offer safe and pleasant surroundings and ensure that the worth of every child is recognised and appreciated.

Whilst we offer a broad curriculum, we are fully conscious of the need to maintain basics, particularly in English and Mathematics. We understand the growing pressures on young people today and remain determined in the teaching of those traditional values dear to us all. We place a real emphasis on good manners, appropriate behaviour and self-discipline. We encourage children to share their experiences and realise their aspirations.

Preparatory department

7 years and above

Pre-preparatory department

5 & 6 year olds

4 year olds - Optional mornings or full days

3 year olds - Mornings

Lunches

Nutritional lunches are prepared by the School Cook

In the case of brothers and sisters a reduction of 10% on Tuition Fees is available for the second child and a further 5% for a third child (this includes the 3 year old class)

There are a few Scholarships available to both existing pupils and new intake
